My services

One method, three very different jobs

Every project runs through the same six stages. What changes is what we are optimising for — running costs, independence at home, or a property that works for whoever lives in it next.

The three routes

  • Home and family

    Families · first-time buyers · renters · busy professionals · the tech-curious

Start with heating, because that is where the money is. Everything else waits until it earns its place.

    [price — owner to confirm]

Survey plus a written plan. Installation is quoted separately once you have the plan, so you can take it elsewhere if you would rather.

  • Accessible living

Older people · anyone who wants a home that is easier to live in

Lights, heating, doors and blinds that answer to a voice or one button. Set up so staying in your own home stays the easy option.

    [price — owner to confirm]

Priced per home, because no two homes need the same things. The first call is free and costs you nothing if the answer is that you do not need me.

  • Property and business

Landlords · flippers · developers · business owners

Fewer callouts, lower running costs, and a system the next tenant can actually use. Specified once, repeatable across units.

    [price — owner to confirm]

Multi-unit and portfolio work is quoted per property after a first survey, because the second unit costs far less than the first.

The SMART method

Six stages, and you can stop after any of them

  1. DoneSurveyTwo hours in the property.
  2. DoneMapWhat you own, on one page.
  3. DoneArchitectThe plan, in plain English.
  4. DoneRolloutInstalled in agreed phases.
  5. DoneTuneFour weeks of adjustment.
  6. In progressCompleteHandover pack and guide.

The same component appears inside your portal from the day the project opens, showing where your own home has got to. It is the one device shared by all three surfaces.

The method in full

Questions people ask first

If yours is not here, ask it on a call — it costs nothing and I will tell you if I am the wrong person for the job.

Do you sell the equipment?

No, and I take no commission from anyone who does. You buy your own kit at the price you find and I tell you exactly what to buy, so nothing on your list is there because it pays me.

What happens on the first call?

Twenty-five minutes, on Google Meet or the phone, free. You describe the house and what is annoying you, and I tell you honestly whether you need me. Plenty of calls end with a suggestion and no survey.

Do I have to do the whole thing at once?

No. You can stop at the end of any of the six stages and keep everything produced up to that point — including the written plan, which is yours whether or not I install any of it.

Can I take the plan to someone else?

Yes. It is written in plain English so another installer could follow it. Being tied to me because only I understand your house would be a worse product, not a better business.

Will this work with what I already own?

Usually, and finding out is a whole stage of the method. Map exists to inventory what is already in the house before anything new is considered — most homes keep more than the owner expects.

How do you handle my data?

Only what is needed to do the work, and you can see and delete it from your own account. No form on this site asks about your health, your age or any condition — not on the accessible living route either.
